Harbour Minds is a Community Interest Company (CIC) created to make mental health support more accessible, more affordable, and more human.
We exist to meet a growing need in our local communities for counselling and wellbeing services that are trauma-informed, inclusive, and available without long waiting lists or high private fees.
Based in Great Yarmouth and Lowestoft, we work with fully qualified and student counsellors on placement — under close supervision — to offer low-cost therapy sessions, supervision, and community wellbeing activities.
To provide a safe and inclusive space where people can explore their mental health and wellbeing, supported by trained counsellors in a way that is affordable and compassionate.
We believe in:

We are not-for-profit and proud to operate with an asset lock, meaning all income is reinvested into our mission.

Harbour Minds was founded by a group of practitioners, supervisors, and community members who share a vision of accessible, high-quality support.
We’re passionate about helping people feel heard, supported, and empowered — whether through one-to-one counselling, group sessions, or wider wellbeing events.

We collaborate with UK counselling training organisations to provide high-quality placement opportunities for student counsellors. Each student receives ongoing supervision and training, helping them grow into confident, competent practitioners — while offering clients meaningful, affordable support.
